About Us
UNIMAS Talent Recruitment and Career Exhibition (TRACE) is an annual event
dedicated in providing the best single platform for talent recruitment and
employment opportunities for higher education graduates in the region.
With five (5) consecutive years of successful career exhibitions, this event is
the largest of its kind ever held in Sarawak with more than 80 companies
taking part each year.
These events have been able to secure a huge pool of attendees ranging from
8,000 to more than 15,000 per event. This positions TRACE as the most highly
regarded and sought after career exhibition and is well-known among
industries throughout Malaysia.
TRACE 2024 focuses on talent recruitment and career opportunities for
graduates. TRACE is a platform for industries and potential employers locally
and internationally to source from a pool of candidates comprising of talented
higher education graduates, job seekers, trainees and existing students who
are actively looking for job placement and industrial training opportunities.
Our History
Talent Recruitment and Career Exhibition 2024 (UNIMAS TRACE 2024) Universiti Malaysia Sarawak was formerly known as Innovation, Career and Education Fair (ICE) which is the biggest career carnival in Borneo. Innovation, Career and Education (I.C.E) is an event organised by the I.C.E committee and the Centre of Student Development UNIMAS. This platform on exposing UNIMAS students as well as students from others higher education institutions to the career and training prospects offered by the companies. This year's program focuses more on talent recruitment and job opportunities, in line with its new name, Talent Recruitment and Career Exhibition 2024 (TRACE 2024). TRACE 2024 provides an opportunity for local and international industry and prospective employers to meet directly with UNIMAS graduates and all graduates in Borneo in the context of offering job opportunities and industry training. Indirectly, this will provide employment opportunities for future graduates of higher education institutes in Borneo. In 2022, TRACE organized by the Centre Student Development (PPP), stopped two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Reorganization of TRACE this year has involved more than 80 companies.
